Cochin Font is a Sens-Serif typeface. This typeface is designed by George Peignot in the year of 1912 for the Paris foundry named G. Peignot et Fils. George Peignot was also a well-known engraver and his typeface was widely used in the 20th Century.

This font style was named after a French engraver named Charles Nicolas Cochin (1715-1790). This textured style contains 233 glyphs. The recent use of this typeface was in Apple iPad. This font style has also used the cover of Harry Potter.
