Asul is a sans-serif typeface designed by Carlos D. Silva in 2006. The name Asul is derived from the Portuguese word for blue. The typeface has a large x-height and wide apertures, making it highly legible. This font is also has a high degree of stroke contrast and moderate stress on the horizontals, giving it a strong identity.
Drawbacks of the Asul typeface include its lack of true italics and small caps. If you want to pair the typeface and gain much more effect on your designs then use gibson font in your practical designs.
